Accelerated Precision Tooling
Gain hands-on training and job-ready skills that are in high demand. MCC has one of the best-equipped college machining programs in New York State. Our Precision Machining certificate program provides you with first-hand experience in the most current techniques and technology, plus the opportunity to learn directly from journeyman machinists with years of professional experience. In just 22 weeks, you’ll graduate with a certificate and highly sought skills that prepare you for immediate employment.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
AWS Academy Cloud Foundations is intended for students who seek a foundational understanding of AWS cloud computing technology. Taught by tech industry professionals, this course provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS services, security, architecture, pricing and support. This course prepares you for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam.
Certified Nurse Assistant
This basic training program is designed as a boot camp style training. The curriculum covers professional skills, mandated nurse assistant content, and practical skill development. Through lecture, group activity, exams, hands-on demonstrations, and clinical experience, students will demonstrate the competencies required to qualify to sit for the New York State exam.
CNC Operator
An 8-week, non-credit, training program that covers basic operation of computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathes and mills to produce precision parts. Participants are required to be sponsored by an employer and work while they learn. If you do not have a sponsor, MCC will help find you one.
Home Health Aide
Start your health care career working with individuals who need assistance with daily tasks by providing help with personal care, nutrition, and tasks, in-home or at an assisted living facility. This program is designed for entry-level health care professionals, individuals who face employment barriers, and those looking to advance their career.
HVAC Jumpstart
A 13-credit training program that provides participants with basic skills in refrigeration and heating and electrical systems. Participants are required to be sponsored by an employer and work while they learn. If you don’t have a sponsor, MCC will help find you one.
Mechatronics Jumpstart
11 weeks of on instructor skills training exploring the principles of electrical-mechanical and computer control used in advanced manufacturing. Students will participate in a paid co-op with a regional employer and will acquire critical skills needed to gain employment in an industry related career. Upon program completion, participants earn college credit that can be used towards an MCC credential.
Medical Office Assistant
The health care industry's need for office staff has never been higher! Monroe Community College's Medical Office Assistant program was developed to meet the specific needs of local employers. In just 2 semesters, you will develop the skills needed to enter into this dynamic field.
