Barrier Precaution and Infection Control

This course meets the requirements of Chapter 786 of the Laws of 1992 that established a requirement for certain healthcare professionals licensed in New York State to receive training on infection control and barrier precautions every four years. This applies to dental hygienists, dentists, licensed practical nurses, registered professional nurses, specialist assistants, and others. Course materials and certificate of completion are provided.

We have updated our course to include a 7th core element on sepsis. This is in response to a new requirement of the NYS Department of Health, effective 7/1/18. Our course meets the most current course version required by New York State Education Department/Office of Professions.

Cancellation requests must be sent via e-mail to corporatecollege@monroecc.edu prior to the scheduled start date of your class at MCC.  Please include your name, daytime phone number, order number, course name and dates. Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process.  Incomplete requests cannot be processed for cancellation.
