Cisco Wireless Technician

This course will start by discussing and demonstrating RF Fundamentals for wireless communications, including radio signals and modulation, proper antenna selection and how to handle interference. Hands-on labs on live Cisco routers will be available for the student form their home. In addition, a practice certification tests will be available as well. Then implementing a wireless network for Cisco will be demonstrated including how to adjust access points to provide service to an area, integrating access points and controllers into a network, wireless equipment and maintenance tasks. The course will continue to configuration of client connectivity. Troubleshooting a wireless client and preparing a wireless site survey will finish the course.

Prerequisites: Networking Essentials course or equivalent experience is recommended and previous experience with Cisco routers, or CCNET training or certification is preferred.
